Liverpool fans are rolling their eyes here in the Football Transfer Tavern as our landlord shows us this latest image of their manager Brendan Rodgers.

The Reds boss seems to be frantically scribbling on a piece of paper and after watching his side put in yet another lacking display against Arsenal, we think that the manager MUST be writing a rather lengthy list to Santa.

With the January transfer window set to open, Rodgers simply must bring in at least a couple of players to save his season – but as our regulars note, given how badly the summer spending has turned out, we think Rodgers may need a little bit of help with his picks to avoid another Dejan Lovren!
