It’s been a truly wonderful start to the season for the Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern, who’ve been treated to some pulsating football by Jurgen Klopp and his side.

The charismatic German has been nominated for the Manager of the Month award for October, the month that marks a year from which he was appointed as Brendan Rodgers’ successor.

While it’s not all been plain sailing for the ex-Borussia Dortmund coach (losing two cup finals), there’s little doubt the 49-year-old has had a wonderful impact on Merseyside.

Though his work is far from done on Merseyside, the first anniversary of his arrival has been widely celebrated on Twitter.

Brendan Rodgers may have almost won the Reds a first Premier League title but Klopp represents a popular figurehead for Liverpool as they aim to keep up with their North West neighbours.
