‘Brilliant business’, ‘Would be amazing’ - Chelsea fans are desperate for 28-year-old to join

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are coming into the pub every day, hoping desperately for a new signing. The Blues are yet to make a single transfer move thus far this summer, and given that the likes of Man Utd and Arsenal have been moving quickly, that is concerning for the club.

Chelsea can’t afford to fall any further behind in the English top flight, and so they’ll need to make an impact sooner, rather than later.

Fortunately, according to Alfredo Pedulla, the Blues are beginning to make their targets clear, and they’re apparently on the trail of one of Europe’s best.

Pedulla reports that Chelsea are interested in Miralem Pjanic, who is also a target of Barcelona.

Pjanic is currently a crucial player for Juventus. Arguably the focal point of the midfield, most of what the Italian giants do goes through him, and so given Cesc Fabregas’ poor recent form, a move does make sense for Chelsea.
