Bristol City: Fans react to Josh Brownhill’s message

Bristol City will be looking to get themselves on a bright run of form after earning the bragging rights in the Severnside Derby at the weekend against Cardiff City.

The Robins knew that a win would keep them firmly in the play-off picture and they duly achieved exactly that on Sunday afternoon as Josh Brownhill smashed in a brilliant winner.

It was a rapid, curling strike from outside of the box into the Cardiff net and was good enough to win any game, leaving the Robins fans in the away end absolutely bouncing.

A big three points, then, and Brownhill has taken to Twitter since the victory to share his thoughts on the game and also offer a message to supporters:

Naturally, the outpouring of praise has been large in scale, so here’s just a snippet of the reaction to the midfielder’s comments as fans head into the international break with smiles on their faces:

Absolutely cracking result. Wasnt the easiest to watch, but the team was cracking. Great to see Nagy back, and Smith in the bench!! Onwards. Have a good international break, you deserve it!!
