Liverpool: Fans want Marcelo Brozovic at Anfield

According to Libero, Liverpool are in talks to sign Internazionale midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.

The Croatia international is having a fantastic season with the Serie A outfit, scoring three goals and providing five assists in the Italian league. He has also appeared in a World Cup final, against France in 2018 – he also has a release clause of £52m according to The Daily Express.

At 28 years of age, his signing would go slightly against the recent transfer policy of the Reds – they have been looking at bringing in younger players, with teenagers Sepp van den Berg and Harvey Elliott joining last summer, and 25-year-old Takumi Minamino making the switch from RB Salzburg in January of this year.

However, despite this, there are plenty of the club’s supporters who would like the Anfield outfit to take Brozovic to Merseyside. They have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts, with one describing the Croatian as a “world class player.”
