Some Everton fans have been left buzzing over an official update that has emerged from the Goodison Park faithful.
As per the official website of the Merseyside club, their game away at Burnley in the Premier League on Boxing Day has now been postponed.

This was at the request of the Toffees, due to the number of injuries and positive Covid-19 cases that they currently have in their first-team squad, which has meant that they have an insufficient amount of players to fulfil the fixture.

With so many players out, it has come as a relief to a lot of Blues that the match will now not be played until later on in the season, which gives them a much better chance of taking points as they would then have more players back.
