Arsenal will want to forget all about the disasters of last season as Arsene Wenger failed to give supporters the fairytale ending they were looking for. Although, there’s all the more reason to be positive, as the club’s youth system continues to produce future stars.
Unai Emery has already made a number of positive changes since he took charge at the Emirates. Indeed, the summer transfer window has been rather profitable for the London club as they’ve made full use of the funds at their disposal by bringing in a number of quality players.
Although, all eyes will be on how the youngsters perform over the course of pre-season with a new manager at the helm. Of course, Emery will still be weighing up his options ahead of the new campaign, so there’s plenty of opportunities for players from the club’s youth system to impress.

Emile Smith Rowe was one of the standout performers in Arsenal’s International Champions Cup game against Spanish giants Atletico Madrid, as he made a name for himself by netting the Gunners’ only goal in some style.
He made his Arsenal Under-23 debut at the age of 16 two seasons ago, and scored six times in 14 appearances for the Under-18s in the same year.

The 18-year-old is very highly rated and will no doubt play a huge part in the club’s future. And, judging off his recent performances, it may not be long until he stamps his authority on proceedings in the first-team.
One of Unai Emery’s five summer signings so far this season, Matteo Guendouzi arrived from French second-division side Lorient this month for a £7 million fee.
Importantly, Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira are on an extended break after representing their nation at the World Cup this summer, so the Frenchman has been provided with the perfect opportunity to showcase his talents.
But, there’s no doubt that the 19-year-old is very much one for the future, as he’ll be looking to follow in the footsteps of Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.
