Our Manchester City fans here in the Transfer Tavern aren’t giving up on the league title just yet.
Indeed, whilst it does look out of their reach at the moment they know their club is more than capable of reeling in big points gaps and with a game against Chelsea tomorrow night – anything could still happen.
It’s been a season of performances that have shown just how good City can be under Pep Guardiola but also how poor they can be and where they need to improve in the summer.
New signings are going to be a certainty, then, but it appears that they’ve essentially got a new man on the way in before then, too, as per the club’s official Twitter account with Gabriel Jesus back in training:

The young striker was very bright in the handful of games he played before getting injured and that youthful exuberance could be an extra bonus towards the end of the season.
