Liverpool fans here in the Tavern look forward to the weekend’s game, in the hope of turning their recent couple of poor results around.
Having seen the firepower that Liverpool possess in the attacking third with arguably the most dangerous front-three in the Premier League, many teams now head to Anfield with the same game-plan, to park the bus.
However, this hasn’t pleased Liverpool fans one bit, with it believed to be the reason behind their slip-ups in recent games after causing multiple draws, although a clean-sheet is appreciated, a win would mean much more to the die-hard Reds fans.
Indeed, many supporters are critical of the way that their side fails to break down the opposition’s defenders, with their decision-making coming into question once again, after opting to pass their way into a shooting position, rather than drawing the defence out with a flurry of long-range efforts.
Becoming a successful team is all about how you adapt to the situation, which is something that’s separated Liverpool from reaching the level that league leaders Manchester City currently thrive off. After the disappointing bore-draw, the club’s Twitter account took to posting Ragnar Klavan’s thoughts on West Bromwich Albion’s defensive approach.
