The Liverpool fans were drowning their sorrows in the Transfer Tavern on Tuesday evening after they watched their side throw away a 3 goal lead in Seville.
As both sides walked down the tunnel at the interval, the Liverpool fans could have been forgiven for thinking their side were already through to the knockout stages of the Champions League. However, the same complacency that was rife amongst the supporters at half-time was reciprocated by the players and allowed Sevilla to stage to a dramatic fightback at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium.
Liverpool shared a post on their Twitter page in the aftermath of proceedings in which Dutch midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum gave his thoughts on their capitulation in Spain and urged his side to put things right against Spartak Moscow on match-day six.

So far this season, Liverpool have attracted plenty of criticism for their defensive performances, but the Twitter post was greeted with a scathing attack on their club captain Jordan Henderson.
Judging by the response, the Liverpool fans seem far from happy with their captain’s performances in recent weeks, and plenty of supporters are calling for him to be dropped from the team entirely before their huge clash with Chelsea on Saturday.

You and Henderson went missing in midfield for most of second half. Our defense had no protection. Our mid fielders don’t pass the ball well, they don’t shoot well and they surely don’t tackle. Naby Keita is an automatic starter when he arrives.
