Our Sheffield Wednesday fans here in the Transfer Tavern are eager to see their side bounce back again after another play-off disappointment last time.
The Owls had been hoping to go better than their play-off final loss last season by getting into the Premier League for 2017/18 but now the club are going to have to make do with another campaign in the second tier.
The hard work starts now, then, to make sure they finally achieve promotion and Carlos Carvalhal is certainly going to have to do the business in the transfer market.
He appears determined though – as quoted by the club’s official Twitter account – and many have reacted to his words.
