Carlos Tevez: VOTE Now!

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has admitted that Carlos Tevez refused to come off the bench in his side’s 2-0 defeat against Bayern Munich, and that the striker’s career at the club is now finished.

With the Premier League team trailing 2-0 at the Allianz Arena after a Mario Gomez brace, the Italian coach looked to bring on the Argentinainternational, but Tevez had other ideas.

When quizzed about whether the South American’s time at the Etihad Stadium was over, Mancini was clear in his thoughts.

“I don’t decide this, but if I did, then yes,” he told Sky Sports.

“I helped Carlos for two years but I cannot accept this behaviour. For me, it’s a bad situation because in a game like this it’s impossible for one player to refuse to come on, but also for the team because he didn’t play.

“But we played with 11 players. This is impossible,” he continued.

Tevez’s time at the Manchester outfit has been shrouded in controversy, as he has requested a transfer on a number of occasions, and looked likely to leave the club in the summer.

With the latest slight against the team, it looks like his time in England is numbered.

“If I have my way he will be out of the club. He just refused to go on. I don’t know why.

“I cannot be happy with this situation. Would something like this happen at Bayern Munich, AC Milan or Manchester United? I am the manager. I decide everything. I have helped him every time for two years, he has wanted to leave but I still picked him.

“The thing is there were still 30 minutes until the end of the game. We could still change it. Carlos didn’t play at the start of the season because he has not had a pre-season for three years. He was not ready to play.

“If it was another player may be this could happen but for a player to refuse to go on in an important game like this is not right,” he concluded.

Well now, when it comes to football, one man has for many years been the most noticeable, the most controversial, and occasionally the most successful blogger this country has ever produced. His pithy words and abrasive style make him as famous off the pitch as he is on it. This man is Escapini. "I love football. Football she's a cruel mistress. She's, she's more than a mistress. She's a wife, she's a mother, she's a daughter, she's an errant child. She's a… she's a… she can make you laugh, she make you cry. She can bring tears me eyes. She can bring blood to me shoulders. She can bring a kettle to the boil." "Cause football is about nothing, unless it's about something and what it is about, is football."
