According to The Daily Mail, Celtic are looking into the possibility of signing Jordon Mutch from Crystal Palace when the January transfer window, with our resident Bhoys fans here in the Transfer Tavern hoping he can add something to the team.
The midfielder has been reportedly scouted out by Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers as an ideal box-to-box player in the central area and a figure of £3.5 million is being touted to be the offer made by the club leading in the top flight of Scottish football.
Rodgers has enjoyed a good start to life north of the border, with the Bhoys absolutely flying and looking good to win their sixth league title in a row whilst he’s also seen some of his signings really excel.
The likes of Moussa Dembele up front, for example, have endeared themselves quickly to the Celtic Park crowd and the hope will now be that, should Mutch sign in January, he too will enjoy a successful spell.
The midfielder has only featured three times for Palace so far this season with players such as Yohan Cabaye ahead of him in the pecking order and he could now be on his way to Glasgow when the market opens.
