Celtic fans on Twitter glad to see Dembele sign professional contract with the club

Celtic climbed to the top of the SPL table over the weekend after they beat Dundee 3-0 at Celtic Park, though that is not the only thing that is likely to leave supporters delighted.

Earlier today, the club announced that talented youngster Karamoko Dembele had signed his first full-time professional contract with the 15-year-old since coming out to speak about how pleased he is with the deal.

“It means a lot to me to start my professional career at Celtic,” Dembele told Celtic’s official club website. “I came here at a young age, and, after all the stuff me and family have been through together, it’ll be good to make them proud.”

Seen as one of the Bhoys’ most promising youth prospects, it will be encouraging from the club’s perspective to see Dembele sign his first professional contract with them instead of being lured to the youth ranks of an outfit from one of Europe’s top leagues.
