His name is on the lips of everybody in the Football Transfer Tavern – and it would appear that both Chelsea and Man Utd are keen on signing him.
According to the Express, Celtic star Moussa Dembele is a man in demand – with both Chelsea and Man Utd, alongside Real Madrid, reportedly keen on 2016’s breakout star.
Since arriving in Scotland earlier this year, Dembele has been near unstoppable – having scored an impressive 7 league goals in 7 starts for Celtic.
He also rose to prominence with a few fantastic Champions League performances, with none more impressive than his display against Premier League toppers Manchester City.
The Express are reporting that both clubs had scouts in attendance at a recent Celtic game, as both clubs look to tie up a move for a player valued at £40 million.
Everyone in the Tavern wants this starlet at their club – and the Chelsea and Man Utd fans are no different.
Our landlord is more cynical, however, and has suggested that the Scottish leagues are a huge step down from the Premier League – and £40 million is far too much to gamble on an unproven forward.
