Chelsea fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern are dying to hear what the Daily Star have to say about Douglas Costa who is desperate for a move to Stamford Bridge.
As our Chelsea fans note, Jose Mourinho likes to think he is pretty special and the news that Costa will only make move to the club he managed will certainly be music to his ears.
Given the Blues managed to crash out of Europe and are now considering just who to buy this summer to ensure that does not happen again, we think Costa will want to put in some seriously good shifts from now until the end of the season for Shakhtar Donetsk to make sure the west London club follow through on their interest in him.
The player himself spoke about a potential move and claimed: ‘I am interested in moving to Chelsea – not only because everything Willian tells me about the club, but because I think that I’d be able to achieve everything I want having someone like Jose Mourinho by my side.’
Not only will Mourinho love to hear this but we think he will be keen to see Costa link up with Willian once again to boot.
