Chelsea fans are looking up with some interest here in the Football Transfer Tavern as the Daily Star seem to think that Jose Mourinho will be handed a massive £75 million this summer.
As one of our punters notes, Chelsea are clearly one of the best sides in the Premier League, but after seeing the Blues lose to Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League, there are massive questions over their ability to dominate Europe.
Mourinho aims to be at the Champions League final in 2016 when it is hosted at his old stomping ground the San Siro and to do that, he will have to bring in at least a couple more players with our regulars noting that he is in desperate need of a central defender and another forward he can trust.
This will probably pave the way for more exits from the club and we think Oscar and Loic Remy will be looking over their shoulders.
