Chelsea are thought to be on the verge of tying Callum Hudson-Odoi down to a new contract, according to a report by The Daily Mail.
It is claimed the 18-year-old is set to agree to a five-year deal believed to be worth more than £100,000-a-week and could potentially rise to £10million-a-year if he continues to progress.
The report states that the return of Frank Lampard and Jody Morris has helped to ease any fears Hudson-Odoi may have had and he seems set to be central to the Blues’ starting eleven this season once he recovers from his injury.

Bayern Munich were believed to be preparing a £45million bid to try and tempt the Premier League outfit into selling their teenage star earlier this week, although it appears the Blues have managed to convince him to remain in west London.
Hudson-Odoi was the centre of a significant amount of interest from the Bundesliga giants last winter, as well as they saw offers turned down for him, including one just last month, as it seemed the winger wanted to leave after not getting the opportunities in the first-team under Maurizio Sarri that he wanted, leading to a transfer request being submitted.
Furthermore, his statistics collected by WhoScored just highlighted how good he was when he was given the chance on the pitch as he managed to average 0.9 key passes per 90 mins and 1.2 completed dribbles in his 10 Premier League outings. Those figures would suggest that the 18-year-old could have a bright future at Chelsea and could potentially team up with Christian Pulisic on the wings as both Pedro and Willian enter their 30s.

There has been plenty of talk regarding Hudson-Odoi’s future at Chelsea, however, the lastest developments appear to indicate that he will be continuing his career at Stamford Bridge for the foreseeable long-term.
Once the deal has been confirmed, the Blues will be able to put any of the transfer issues behind them and should be able to look ahead to a potentially thriving partnership of Lampard, Morris and the England international for a number of years to come.
