The Juventus stalwart is understood to be a target for Antonio Conte – who has worked with him at both club and country level – and a deal could reportedly be struck for around £25m.
Having played for the Turin titans all of his life, the 31-year-old has struggled for game time this season. Still, the Serie A giants are thought to want to include a buy-back clause in any deal that sees the midfielder leave.
