Antonio Conte is seemingly ready to follow the path of his predecessors by looking towards exciting, young talent – and it would appear that the Blues have found their next target.
According to the Sun, Chelsea are targeting French striker Louis Guebbels – who is currently playing for Lyon.
The 15-year-old has been impressing as of late, and whilst he is yet to progress into the first team, Chelsea are seemingly ready to swoop in and bring him to Stamford Bridge.
Interestingly, the Sun adds that the youngster is well aware that the Blues would offer him a fantastic development programme, with Chelsea’s youth team proving successful in recent years.
Not much is known about the youngster other than the fact that he is a prolific frontman, and Chelsea appear to recognise that he could become a star in the future.
He would join a long line of impressive young Chelsea attackers, with the likes of Dominic Solanke and Tammy Abraham the latest to graduate through the system.
Our landlord certainly thinks that it is a risk to sign an unproven youngster, but Chelsea seemingly know what they’re doing.
