Chelsea are no strangers to loaning out a large number of players every season, and one name who is well accustomed to departing Stamford Bridge annually is midfielder Lewis Baker.
ICYMI: @lew_baker will be playing in the Bundesliga this season…
Good luck, Lewis!

The 24-year-old Luton-born playmaker has made just one first-team appearance for Chelsea in his footballing career and has gone out on loan to six different clubs (per Transfermarkt), and now the Blues have announced via their official website that Baker will be heading out on loan for the sixth season in a row, this time to Germany to play for Bundesliga side Fortuna Dusseldorf.
Of course, the news of Baker going out on loan yet again was met with an overall negative reaction from Chelsea fans on social media, who took to Twitter to let their opinions be heard over the playmaker departing Stamford Bridge again for the year. Here is what some supporters had to say…
Should’ve sold him already

Just sell him. I don’t understand this. He’ll never get a game for Chelsea and that’s proven after the transfer ban.

Why not sell him?
— Egbuchulem Osinachi (@WfKingFizzy) July 25, 2019
This is too much, just sell the lad already

This is probably the 6th loan spell now
