Chelsea fans will be heading into the weekend feeling very happy, you’d expect. The Blues managed to move on after a tough few days stemming from a loss against Arsenal, with Maurizio Sarri’s men dispatching of Tottenham in the Carabao Cup semi-final.
Though they went into the second-leg with a 1 goal deficit, Chelsea were able to turn things around, and though it eventually went to penalties, it’s fair to say that the Blues controlled the game for much of its duration.
Clearly, then, things are beginning to look a little better in SW6, and now, a recent statement from Gianfranco Zola has left fans feeling even happier.
Zola has good news about Ruben Loftus-Cheek who is back in training today. A decision will be made tomorrow about whether he can feature on Sunday.

Loftus-Cheek has been out of action for a few weeks, and the Blues have really missed him. He offers a goalscoring threat that nobody else in the Chelsea midfield can – and he’s quickly become an important player under Maurizio Sarri.
Unsurprisingly, then, news of his return to training has gone down very well with many Chelsea fans online, with supporters clearly desperate to get him back…
