Chelsea fans are seriously concerned by the arrival of Christian Pulisic

Normally, a major signing leads to a lot of delight amongst fans, especially amongst Chelsea supporters. The Blues have signed some big players over the years, and big arrivals have nearly always led to major trophies.

However, Chelsea’s latest signing has made many fans less than thrilled.

On Wednesday, Chelsea confirmed that they had agreed terms with Borussia Dortmund over the transfer of Christiaan Pulisic. The American winger will remain in Germany until the end of the season on loan, and so won’t link up with his new teammates until the summer. 

Pulisic has emerged as one of Europe’s brightest young talents over the last few years, and so it’s no surprise that Chelsea have sought to pick him up, but that doesn’t mean that he’s a popular arrival with fans.

Indeed, many supporters are frustrated with the deal as Pulisic has had a tough season over in Germany, whilst others aren’t impressed by the fact that he won’t join straight away.

Whichever way you spin it, there is a lot about this deal that hasn’t gone down well…

Not really in favour of the Pulisic transfer. If he’s gonna replace William I’m all for it but if that means CHO is going out, we’re losing out big time. #CFC
