Chelsea: Fans beg Tammy Abraham to convince Jadon Sancho to sign after England link-up

Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham bagged his first England goal on Thursday night when he came off the bench to tap home in the 84th minute. He’s had a blistering start to his senior Chelsea career too, having scored 10 goals in 11 starts this season, so Blues fans are right to be excited about the 22-year-old.

His side have won their last six Premier League games and now sit above champions Manchester City in the table despite being under a transfer ban in the summer. Abraham spoke to England’s media team after the goal to talk fans through that finish which came from a Jadon Sancho cross. Describing his goal, he said: “I had to get in front of him [the defender] and get my big size twelves on the ball.” (Quote via Chelsea Twitter)

Chelsea’s official Twitter account posted the video to their followers and the replies soon filled with compliments for the youngster. Many showed their excitement for the lad’s bright future, while some even suggested Abraham should convince Sancho to sign for Frank Lampard’s side to help the striker score even more.
