It is being widely reported that the 18-year-old attacker has agreed to a new five-year deal with Chelsea worth £100,000-a-week, ending the saga surrounding Hudson-Odoi after the youngster handed in a transfer request in the January transfer window following a rejected bid from Bundesliga side Bayern Munich (per BBC Sport).
The teenager started just 11 games last season for the Blues under Maurizio Sarri, but with new manager Frank Lampard claiming via BBC Sport that Hudson-Odoi could be central to Chelsea’s future, it seems these words have turned the winger’s head to remain at the club.
