Chelsea fans appear to be in total agreement with Frank Lampard’s recent comments regarding the club’s inability to keep a clean sheet this season.

The Blues legend, who was speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of their Premier League contest with Brighton and Hove Albion at the weekend, admitted that mistakes ranging from individuals and collectively as a team were becoming a problem. However, he insisted that picking up all three points was more important at the moment than keeping the ball out of the back of their net.
Indeed, Chelsea have struggled to keep the opposition from finding the target this season, as they have failed to keep a side from scoring in each of their nine games so far (Transfermarkt).
The Blues, in fact, have one of the worst records in the Premier League defensively at the moment as well, as they currently rank third in most goals conceded, with Kepa Arrizabalaga conceding 13 times in the top-flight.
However, fans appear to be echoing Lampard’s current thought process and seem to be in full support of the manager, believing that it should be just a matter of time before that first clean sheet is kept.
