Just after Callum Hudson-Odoi’s first senior goal for Chelsea, it seemed like this was a catalyst for Maurizio Sarri gaining faith in his youth as two minutes later, he brought on Welsh wonderkid Ethan Ampadu for his first appearance of the season. Ampadu has been tipped to make it at Chelsea, due to his remarkable composure on the ball and ability to read the game faster than others, however, he will only do so if he continues to get more opportunities over the course of the season. He is just 18 and he has time on his side, but Ampadu will be aware of his ability and what he can do, so Sarri could do with placing a litte more trust in the youngster more often. His appearance got a lot of Chelsea fans talking.
.@ethanamp4 is on for the final 30 minutes or so, replacing @DZappacosta.

With that in mind, let’s take a look at how they reacted.
The word ‘suprised’, seems to be an understatement.

One fan made the point that only Sarri would be placing faith in youngsters like this.
Conte and Mourinho could never.
