Chelsea recorded their fourth consecutive win in all competitions this weekend, defeating Southampton 4-1 at St Mary’s.

Tammy Abraham once again found his way onto the scoresheet, opening the scoring inside 17 minutes, before another academy graduate – Mason Mount – doubled the visitors’ advantage on the 24th minute.
Danny Ings struck back for the hosts but the jubilation from the home support was short-lived, as N’Golo Kante’s deflected shot five minutes before the break ensured the Blues headed into the break with a two-goal lead.
There were no more goals in the game until substitute Michy Batshuayi found the net in the last minute, which saw Lampard’s men come away from the south coast with a resounding 4-1 win.
Mount was one of the standout performers for the visitors. The young England midfielder continues to prove his worth in the top-flight, and looks to be a huge player for Chelsea after netting his fourth goal of the season.
He’s certainly a fan favourite among Blues supporters, too…

This boy has got it. Frank knew it at Derby, he’s a perfect compliment to Kante to Jorgy in midfield.
