Loads of Chelsea fans were not impressed with Jorginho’s performance in their side’s 2-2 draw with Leicester City on Saturday.
While Antonio Rudiger proved to be the hero on the day for the Blues, scoring both goals including the all-important equaliser, Jorginho was the villain for some. The Italy international picked up his ninth yellow card of the season just before the hour mark for a foul on James Maddison, prompting criticism.
Several supporters were quick to call for Mateo Kovacic to be brought on, a substitution Frank Lampard eventually made and one that did bear some fruit. The 25-year-old was able to register a 100% pass success rate during his time on the pitch (via WhoScored) as he provided Chelsea with a composed presence in the centre.
His pass success rate was vastly superior to Jorginho’s (82%), albeit he made less passes than his team-mate. Whatever the case, Jorginho’s latest outing was one that underwhelmed. Just take a look at what fans had to say below…
