Chelsea fans on Twitter slam Alonso and co ahead of Malmo clash

Chelsea will be looking to put their embarrassing 6-0 loss to Manchester City behind them when they take on Malmo in the Europa League tonight.

The Blues were absolutely shambolic in their heaviest defeat in 28 years, a defeat which has seen Maurizio Sarri come under even more scrutiny.

With results and performances having already been poor before the battering they got at the Etihad, serious questions were starting to be asked about Sarri’s tactics with many left baffled with the Italian’s decision to not use N’Golo Kante at the base of his midfield.

Looking at the bigger picture of things, though, it would be wrong if all the blame was placed on Sarri.

After all, this is a Chelsea squad who have made world-class managers such as Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho look like Non-League coaches with some of their shameless performances.
