Chelsea fans react to Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s injury

It’s not been a good couple of days for Chelsea. After their brilliant performance in the Europa League, they looked to be a team on the up, but they’ve gone crashing back down over the last 36 hours.

Indeed, on Sunday, Chelsea were beaten comfortably by Everton at Goodison Park, with the Toffees looking far better than the Blues for much of the game.

Despite dominating possession and having a clear gulf in individual quality, it was Chelsea’s lack of finishing ability that left them clutching at straws, and by the time the game ended, Everton deserved the three points.

Unfortunately for Chelsea, though, whilst the football may be over for a couple of weeks due to the international break, the frustration is going to keep coming.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek has withdrawn from the England squad for the forthcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers due to injury.

Chelsea confirmed on Monday that midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek had pulled out of international duty with England due to an injury. This is, obviously, a major concern, as he’s hardly played in recent months due to fitness problems.

This has only made many fans online even more frustrated. Everything seems to be going wrong for the Blues, at least that’s what these online supporters think…
