Chelsea fans want Alvaro Morata to stay at the club this summer

Alvaro Morata had a tough season at Chelsea, it’s fair to say. He starteed the campaign on fire, but a mix of form, fitness and personal issues led him through a rough patch at the club, and he never really recovered. In the end, he finished the campaign with 11 league goals, and that’s simply not good enough.

His position in the squad, then, was always going to come under scrutiny, and that’s certainly been the case.

Indeed, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, Chelsea are in talks regarding the Spaniard’s future, with AC Milan apparently keen to sign him. Significantly, the same source reports that he’s eager to return to Italy.

Certainly, Morata has been below par over the last year, but it doesn’t appear as though fans have given up on him. Indeed, to the contrary, many Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to discuss his future – and they all want him to get a second chance.

Many are particularly keen to see what he can do under Maurzio Sarri, who looks likely to shift to a more offensive style next season.

Well even though i hate Morata ..
I now prefer to keep him / Giroud / Michy for next season instead of buying Higuain .. all 3 can progress much under Sarri #ChelseaFC #ChelseaTransfer #CFC
