The 18-year-old made a goal-contributing return to action, setting up Willian for the second Chelsea goal in the 76th minute (via Sky Sports).
Hudson-Odoi had been out since suffering a ruptured Achilles tendon injury in the 2-2 draw at home to Burnley towards the end of last season (via Independent).
The England international enjoyed a fine 2018/19 campaign with Chelsea, scoring six goals and assisting seven in just 29 games in all competitions (via Transfermarkt).
Before Saturday’s game against Graham Potter’s side, Frank Lampard urged £31.5m-rated Hudson-Odoi to use Raheem Sterling as an example (via The Guardian).
Fans seem to be over the moon following the youngster’s recent impact with the Chelsea first team as they took to Twitter to react.

Good game Callum. Did better than Pedro in whole game. Can’t wait to see you start this wednesday alongside Reece again my man.
And please tell Lampard to not being biased to Pulisic. Man deserves better too. Wants your partnership again this wednesday
