Chelsea could be looking at a mass exodus this summer as up to 10 senior players have reportedly been made available for transfer.

Blues fans could be in for more excitement in this transfer window as Frank Lampard rolls up his sleeves and announces that a huge chunk of the squad will be on the chopping block. According to The Times (via The Mirror), four defenders are among the players listed as potential outgoings this summer.

After guiding his team to a top four finish this season, it seems that Lampard is ploughing full steam ahead towards an exciting 2020/21 campaign. The Stamford Bridge legend has already secured the signings of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner but doesn't plan to stop there.

Chelsea are heavily linked with another attacker in the form of hot transfer target Kai Havertz, with a move to London almost certainly on the cards for the German. Other names on Lampard's wish-list include Declan Rice and Jan Oblak, who could be a much-needed replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga.

According to ESPN, Roman Abramovich has granted Lampard a £120m transfer budget on top of what has already been spent. However, if the ex-midfielder wants to really kit out his squad, more funds need to be raised from somewhere.

After narrowly missing out on securing the club's ninth FA Cup, Lampard will be hungry for silverware. In order to challenge in both Europe and the Premier League, Chelsea must bolster their attack to match that of Manchester City and Liverpool.

With their newly-signed attacking duo of Ziyech and Werner, Lampard has already started making huge changes, but he must now make sure the defensive quality is on a par with the forwards.

According to The Times' report, the Blues are ruthlessly putting Marcos Alonso, Emerson Palmieri, Kurt Zouma and Andreas Christensen on the market to fund their lavish spending spree. With the acquired funds from that quartet alone if they are sold, Chelsea could kit out their weak defence and Lampard could lead a Stamford Bridge revolution.
