The Daily Mail have Chelsea fans salivating at the mouth here in the Football Transfer Tavern as they seem to think that the Blues could well land Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Paris Saint Germain forward will step out at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night and hope to knock Chelsea out of the Champions League but it seems that according to his agent, despite being 33 years of age, the best is still to come from the forward – and he wants to play on for another decade.
Mino Raiola claimed: ‘I don’t know if he can finish his career at PSG.
‘He worked for himself for 15 years, now he will work for me for the next eight years. I think he can play until he is 42 or 43 but I don’t know if he will play another eight years at PSG.’
Given the former Inter Milan player knows Jose Mourinho well and has yet to experience life in the top flight of English football, we think that a shock move to end his career could be on the cards and that would certainly be something that would not only stun world football but one that would only solidify Chelsea’s status as one of the biggest clubs in the world.
