The Italian has spearheaded a remarkable turnaround in form at Stamford Bridge, with the Blues currently sitting at the top of the Premier League.
Recent victories against the likes of Man Utd, Tottenham and Man City have cemented Chelsea’s pedigree as Championship contenders – and the Chelsea fans in the Tavern are absolutely delighted.
In truth, Chelsea’s current side looks near perfect – and so our landlord expects any business done in January to focus more centrally upon young players for the future, rather than the present.
It would seem that our landlord’s suggestions are correct, with the Mirror reporting that Chelsea have stepped up their interest in a talented 17-year-old starlet.
According to the Mirror, Chelsea are keen on Inter Milan wonderkid Andrea Pinamonti – who has been impressing as a striker in recent years.
He is currently also a part of the Italy under-19 side, which may mean that Conte is aware of him following the Chelsea manager’s recent spell at the helm of the Italian national side.
