Caught Offside claim to have an exclusive that all Chelsea fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern are more than eager to hear.
They allege that Jose Mourinho has given the green light to the purchase of one of his former players and star forward – Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The forward was one of the key players in Mourinho’s Inter Milan side before being sold to Barcelona in a swap deal which of course ended with the forward leaving after being ‘driven like a Fiat’.
Now it seems that his former manager wants to link up with him again and beat Juventus to the punch. The Italian side are also thought to be interested in the forward who has just won the Ligue 1 title with yet another club, this time French side Paris Saint-Germain and would be open to a move to another club, especially one that has Jose Mourinho at the helm.
Chelsea would have to pay a significant fee for the player who was already unsettled and given that Carlo Ancelotti has already asked to leave for Real Madrid, it seems that a request from Ibra to depart may come sooner than PSG would have expected or liked.
