Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is always good for some gossip here in the Football Transfer Tavern, and the Telegraph does not disappoint in delivering it.
The Blues boss has spoken about the future of his in-demand goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who is being tracked by both the big sides in Madrid and indeed defending Spanish champions Barcelona.
Now however Mourinho has put rumours of a move on a permanent basis to bed, as he claimed that the young star would be starting the season at Stamford Bridge, while fighting it out for the number one spot with Petr Cech.
Mourinho noted that he did not think the player would be sent out on loan again, and also made the point that no matter how the player feels, Chelsea have him under a contract that runs for another two years, so the Blues are not in any rush to make a decision over his future.
Our punters in the tavern are happy to hear that the Belgian stopper will be coming back to England next season, and are keen to see just how far he can push Cech for that starting spot in the side.
