Jamie Sanderson from Metro has just arrived in the Football Transfer Tavern to inform Chelsea supporters, who are taking part in the tavern’s darts competition, that Jose Mourinho is lining up a January move for Paris Saint-Germain starlet Adrien Rabiot.
The 18-year-old midfielder has been one of the stars for the Ligue 1 giants in recent times and now Chelsea could try to convince him to move to Stamford Bridge when the transfer window opens again.
Arsenal and Tottenham have sent scouts to watch him at the Parc des Princes in recent weeks, but Sanderson suggests that Mourinho is determined not to lose out on the highly-rated player.
It is now believed that Chelsea are preparing a bid worth £10m that would see Rabiot remain with the French club until the summer, while a further £5m would be paid on his progression at Stamford Bridge.
Sanderson confirms that it’s a package that will suit PSG and that could could see the Blues moving for the highly-rated teenager as they continue to build a youthful team under Mourinho.
