Chelsea powerhouse eyed by Premier League side

After a really slow start to the campaign, the Stoke City fans in the Transfer Tavern have been delighted about how Mark Hughes has turned things around.

‘Sparky’ is a hugely popular figure amongst the Potters punters propping up the bar and they are excited about reports from the Stoke Sentinel suggesting they are keeping tabs on a midfielder.

They claim Chelsea ace Ruben Loftus-Cheek is being closely monitored by those in the Potteries, who has featured just twice under Antonio Conte this season.

The England under-21 international is also thought to be of interest to Championship leaders Brighton, as well as fellow Premier Leauge side West Ham.

Stoke have previously borrowed Victor Moses and Marco van Ginkel from the Blues in the past and it’s believed the 20-year-old powerhouse is being watched by top brass.

His half-brother, Leon Cort, formerly played for the club and Chelsea are understood to want guarantees he’d play should they ultimately loan him out this January.
