Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern will be concerned with the latest developments happening at the club and will want things to be sorted out in the very near future.
Roman Abramovich’s position as the owner could be in doubt following all his troubles with work permits, which may have had an effect on his decision to pull the plug on plans for a new stadium.
However, one of his main problems with the club at the moment is the situation surrounding Antonio Conte and the man he wants to bring to replace him. The Italian is still under contract but he is expected to leave and Maurizio Sarri has been a favourite for the role.
The former Napoli boss has already been replaced by Carlo Ancelotti, who was once in charge at Stamford Bridge, however, it appears he is falling out of the race to be named as the new man to take control of the west Londoners.

Sky Sports are claiming that Sarri is an unlikely candidate now, with Chelsea appearing to be concerned with his prior behaviour as he has had trouble with Italy’s football authorities in the past.
Landlord’s Verdict
The Chelsea fans in the Tavern will be frustrated that things have not been sorted and will be wanting the club to get things done quickly.
The locals in the bar will fear that the longer it is left someone to be confirmed as manager could have a detrimental effect on possible transfer targets, with punters desperate to get the club back into the Champions League and challenging for the Premier League title once again.
