Our Chelsea fans here in the Transfer Tavern are hoping for a famous domestic double this season with the Blues well on course to achieve that.
The men from Stamford Bridge have really been strong this season and barring a very late collapse they should at least wrap up the Premier League title ahead of Spurs.
Then, for the other half of the double, they’ll need to beat Arsenal in the FA Cup final – something they’ll surely be confident of doing.
From there, then, the challenge surely has to be for the Blues to try and build on the squad in terms of quality for a return to the Champions League but it appears that Alvaro Morata may not be a part of any recruitment drive.
The Spanish striker has obviously got the talent to do the job but he doesn’t always get the chance to showcase that at Real Madrid.
He could, then, be up for moving away but, according to The Telegraph, Chelsea have cooled their interest in him ahead of a potential move.
