Chelsea fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are getting excited as the Daily Mail revealed they are joining Manchester City in the race to sign Brazilian sensation Nathan.
The attacking midfielder turned 19 last month and after having a contract dispute with his current club Atletico Paranaense, he is now looking for a move elsewhere.
City recently voiced an interest in the Brazilian but now he is due to speak to Chelsea next week as a move to Stamford Bridge hangs in the balance.
It is expected that the if he does make the move to London it will only be a matter of time before he is loaned out.
Jose Mourinho will hope his Brazilian contingency, which includes Willian, Ramires, Filipe Luis and Oscar will help him secure the future of the young star.
Whilst another Brazilian, Lucas Piazon, 21, is out on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt and he could help him fit into life at Chelsea as Nathan will be in a similar situation to him.
