Chelsea should look to sign one of these two strikers in the summer

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte will be hoping for an excellent summer of transfer business in the market, as he seeks to strengthen his pack and mount a title challenge next season.

Here in the Tavern, our Blues fans have been left disappointed in their team’s showing in the main, but they are confident that next season will see them come bouncing back and able to challenge Manchester City at the top of the table.

Despite the January signing of Olivier Giroud, the club still appear lightweight in the striking department, with the form of Alvaro Morata often patchy and both players struggling with injuries at varying times of the season.

However, there are plenty of quality strikers out there who we think can come to the Bridge and improve the squad, it’s just a case of getting the right one in.

With that in mind, here’s a look at TWO strikers who Chelsea could look to sign this summer…

Ciro Immobile

The classy little Italian has really found his goalscoring touch this season, rifling in 29 goals for Lazio and further enhancing his reputation as one of the best goal getters in Europe.

Immobile definitely offers something different to the likes of Giroud and Morata, and the chance of playing in the Premier League may well appeal to the striker.

A lethal finisher who also has excellent movement, Immobile would be a definite improvement to the ranks at Stamford Bridge.

Luis Suarez

The Uruguayan striker has been once again hugely impressive for Barcelona this term, but things might not all be as rosy as he might want at the Camp Nou.

Suarez may well feel he has unfinished business in the Premier League after coming so close to winning the title with Liverpool a few seasons back, and could well be up for the challenge of leading Chelsea back to glory.

Suarez is simply world class, and while he might cost a fortune, he could guarantee goals and would no doubt become a firm fan favourite of the Chelsea faithful.
