Chelsea should target these 2 replacements if Eden Hazard leaves this summer

The prospect of Chelsea losing Eden Hazard is something that fans are having to contend with at present. Though not guaranteed to happen, there is certainly a chance. Indeed, the Blues are apparently concerned about it, with the Sun reporting that they are fearing an approach for him in place of Cristiano Ronaldo, whom they have sold to Juventus.

Hazard is one of Europe’s brightest attacking talents, and Real Madrid are known for targeting only Europe’s best. In terms of replacing Ronaldo, Hazard would be a natural choice. He’s quick and robust, and he excels when moving towards goal, and so the comparisons are clear.

Chelsea, then, should prepare for a potential departure, and like Madrid, if he leaves, a top class replacement must be found.

Fortunately, Europe is home to some incredible attacking talent that Chelsea should have their eye on.

With that said, Chelsea should target these 2 replacements if Hazard leaves this summer…

Christian Pulisic is one of the most talented young players currently plying their trade in Europe.

A dazzling attacker, he’s able to drive towards defences and make an impact both through the middle and out wide, and for Borussia Dortmund, he has a similar level of impact to Eden Hazard at Chelsea.

His skill ceiling is huge, given that he’s just 19 and is already one of Europe’s most exciting attackers.

In Pulisic, the Blues would also be getting a huge marketing asset too. He’s one of America’s brightest young talents, and it would surely bring a lot of eyes to Stamford Bridge if he were to move.

Leon Bailey is only a youngster, but he has bags of talent.

The Jamaican is best known for his electric pace, and he’s a real offensive master. He loves to drive at defences and knock the ball around them and chase it, which in turn can lead to devastating counter-attacks.

Bailey also has a lot of room to grow, as he’s just 20-years-old, and so he’d be a wise investment from that perspective.

He, like Hazard, is the sort of player that a lot of defenders simply can’t handle, and that’s the sort of ability that Chelsea need.
