After winning the Europa League and seeing Frank Lampard pen an extension to his current deal at the club, Chelsea fans are receiving even more good news here in the Football Transfer Tavern after it has been claimed by Sport 360 that Radamel Falcao has not joined Monaco.
Chelsea were thought to be in the running for the Colombian forward yet news of a deal with Monaco before an eventual move to Real Madrid has been the talk of the tavern in recent days and it had been seen as almost a done deal.
Now the Atletico Madrid forward himself has moved to dismiss the speculation and ahead of the Copa del Rey final claimed that: “”I know nothing, in these last few weeks of the season the only thing I am focusing on is Atletico Madrid.
“If everything the media said was right, I would have already signed for half of Europe. They have said I am going to Manchester United, to Chelsea, to Real Madrid.
“I don’t know what to think anymore. The only thing that is true is that I still have a contract with Atletico Madrid.”
