The long serving Chelsea captain has pledged his future to the Blues and will now see out his career with them – and as Jose Mourinho has claimed on more than one occasion, is more than capable of playing at the highest level for at least another couple of years.
One of our punters notes that Mourinho will probably look to bring in another central defender come the summer and with Gary Cahill failing to impress at the best of times, we think a young centre back like Raphael Varane who could learn from Terry would be the perfect choice.
