The Blues have had a season to forget in many respects as they look like missing out on a Champions League spot, as they now turn their attention to silverware in the FA Cup. Although, the race for a top-four spot isn’t over yet with a number of games still to play in the Premier League, as Antonio Conte will be looking to finish the season strongly.

Indeed, Chelsea have made a few big mistakes in the current campaign as there always seems to be problems, with many of our local residents still questioning their decision to send a couple of key players out on loan. So, with the club looking to make up for this season’s disasters in the next campaign, welcoming a couple of loan stars back into the first-team squad in the summer will be sure to boost their chances of success.

Michy Batshuayi

Michy Batshuayi moved to Stamford Bridge back in 2016 as one of the hottest products in French football, after enjoying his breakthrough season with former club Olympique de Marseille.

Although, the 24-year-old lost his way in the current campaign as Antonio Conte couldn’t find him a place in the side, something that angered many of our local residents here in the Tavern. And, since he’s moved out on loan to Borussia Dortmund, he’s produced a rich vein of scoring form with eight goals in his last 11 games.

Therefore, having proven his worth in the Premier League already with a number of goals in the current campaign, Chelsea will certainly be boosted by his arrival in the summer months.

Kenedy

Kenedy struggled to make it into the Blues’ ranks during his time at Stamford Bridge, but has certainly shown his quality at St James’ Park since moving to Newcastle United on loan for the rest of the season.

Indeed, the Brazilian has been one of the standout performers for the Magpies in their bid for survival, and even managed to bag a brace against Southampton last time out.

Therefore, the Blues should look forward to welcoming him back into their first-team squad in the summer months, as one of the most promising Premier League youngsters that will play a huge part in their future.
