Our Chelsea fans here in the Transfer Tavern are hoping that their side is going to defend their Premier League title strongly this season.
The men from Stamford Bridge have had a good summer in the transfer window with the likes of Alvaro Morata and Antonio Rudiger arriving and now the plan is to try and win the league once more.
For sure, they’ll have to compete with the other big five clubs in the division for the title whilst European football is also back on the agenda and so Antonio Conte will need to manage the squad well.
In managing the squad, though, he has let Dominic Solanke go to Liverpool and with the striker’s performances in friendlies catching the eye, some Blues fans have questioned whether that was the right decision.
