Chelsea fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern are eager to hear what the Independent has to say after they claimed that the Blues would be willing to allow Filipe Luis to return to Spain.
The left back has struggled during his first season in England and with Atletico Madrid still struggling to replace him at left back, a return could well be on the cards if Jose Mourinho is willing to agree to one.
Luis has failed to break into the Chelsea first team and bar a pretty decent goal in the League Cup, cannot really boast having impressed a great deal, with ever present Cesar Azpilicueta always going to be the number one pick for Mourinho.
There have also been whispers that the Brazilian has been unimpressed with the weather and lifestyle in England, meaning he would welcome a return to La Liga – not to mention the fact that Jose Mourinho clearly does not trust the player.
